Sitting on the sofa, doodling, this came to me. It reminds me of some of the visual jokes and word games they used to put in Mad magazine when I was a small child in the ’70s.
There’s not much else to say, except I had fun!

Sadly not, Laura š But I find this sort of thing is fun to do to let my mind off the hook a bit and give it something different to think about!

You’re so talented! I was telling my sister about you the other day. Even my husband was way impressed with that portrait you painted of your husband. Holy heck, no one can believe how amazing you are. You rock! ššš

It’s true though. I say kind things but I never say nice things just to say them. I just can’t keep my mouth shut, it’s a curse lol. You’re also very humble but sometimes I wanna remind you that you’re really good, because not sure you realize how good you are! You do amazing stuff. I know we’re all our own worst critics but seriously. š

Seriously then, thank you very much. It is so hard to look at your own pictures objectively. The artist always sees the flaws; it’s what spurs us to improve, isn’t it? Knowing you are enjoying my work really helps to motivate me, so a heartfelt thank you again. š

I’m glad to hear that. I did something good today, then. Looking forward to whatever you dream up next. š

Rebecca you always have the best ideas š As a cat lover, I’m completely obsessed with this design. Would it be too much to say it’s just puurrfect?

There is a cat hidden in that word, isn’t there, I have been staring and squinting at it for the last two days and I still can’t make it out. And I will find no rest until I figure it out.

You’re right – the c is its tail, the a its hind quarters and back, and the t its ears and front paws… š I think I should try to make it plainer next time! š š

No, I’m sure not – perhaps it’s just like the vase/face picture? š
